Simple process: Workflow data → Download As File → File saved to your computer

Common File Formats

  • CSV (Spreadsheet): Best for data you want to open in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • JSON: Best for structured data backup or use in other apps.
  • TXT: Best for saving simple notes or content.
  • Custom Filenames: You can use variables like {{date}} to automatically name your files (e.g., report_2024.csv).

Real Example

Input Data: You have a list of three users (Alice, Bob, Carol) with their email addresses and scores.

Configuration:

  • Format: CSV (Spreadsheet)
  • Filename: user_scores_{{date}} (this will automatically add today’s date)

The Result: A file named user_scores_2024-01-17.csv is downloaded to your computer. Inside, it looks like a standard spreadsheet:
