In detail
Section titled “In detail”The Memory page
Section titled “The Memory page”Chat memories becomes Memory (old links redirect), with three tabs:
- Conversations — every chat, quick chat, team thread, workflow conversation and canvas dock chat, with filters by kind, search inside messages with snippets that open the conversation at the right message, and size badges for anything over 1 MB.
- A transcript page for each conversation: its summary, tool steps, interrupted replies, which workflows use it, what takes its space, and Export, Slim, Clear messages and Delete.
- Facts — every fact by owner, a Suggested queue, and No owner for facts kept after their agent or team was deleted.
- Storage — what memory takes and what is easy to free: slim, archive or delete conversations and clear orphans, always with the space freed shown first.
.awmemexport and import, with an optional passphrase. Import always adds copies and never overwrites.- Workflow conversations written by the old Persistent Chat Memory node, which were never visible before, now appear marked Recovered.

Storage
Section titled “Storage”- Settings › Storage shows everything AWFlow keeps in the browser — local models, memory, knowledge bases, workflows and run history — against what the browser allows.
- Keep my data asks the browser not to delete AWFlow data when the disk is low.
- A one-time suggestion when memory passes 500 MB, 1 GB, or the browser is 80% full.
- An opt-in automatic clean-up rule for conversations not opened for a number of days (slim, archive or delete). It is off by default.
Relevant docs:
Smarter facts
Section titled “Smarter facts”- Remember this? — preferences the assistant notices are suggested, and saved only when you confirm. “Remember that…” still saves at once, and questions are never saved.
- Relevance recall — each message uses the facts most relevant to it, found by a small on-device model that downloads on first use. Until then, the newest facts are used.
- The context meter shows how many facts went in and whether memory search is ready. Facts are sent as reference data, never as instructions, and no longer push the conversation out of the context window.
- Facts longer than 500 characters are refused with a clear hint instead of being lost.
- The agent that answered (or that you @mentioned) learns; an agent with learning off never learns, even in a project.
- Share a fact with one specific team. A team’s memory tab lists what members shared, with Stop sharing.
- Deleting an agent or a team asks whether to delete its memories too.
Relevant docs:
Long chats
Section titled “Long chats”- View summary opens the rolling summary to read and edit it, or turn it into fact suggestions. Compact now summarises early on demand.
- Context windows come from a list of known models; unknown models assume a safe 8k and the meter marks it as estimated.
- A reply cut off by closing the tab is kept as interrupted, with Retry.
- The notch quick chat now trims and summarises long chats, and uses and suggests memories like the full chat.
- Canvas dock chats are saved with their workflow and reopen next time, with a Saved chats list.
- Team members who are handed work see the thread’s summary and last turns.
Relevant docs:
Workflow memory
Section titled “Workflow memory”- One Chat Memory node replaces Local Memory, Persistent Chat Memory and Window Buffer Memory. Storage: a conversation, a key, or this run only. Keys are scoped to the workflow by default, or shared. History fits the model’s window (or the last N messages), older messages can be summarised, and tool results can be remembered.
- Existing workflows keep working and are upgraded to Chat Memory when saved.
- The picked conversation is cleared when a workflow is published or shared.
- Deleting a workflow offers to delete its own conversations; shared keys are kept.
Relevant docs:
Conversations are no longer limited by plans: they are stored on your device.
Encryption
Section titled “Encryption”With Local secret protection on, conversation messages, summaries and facts are encrypted on this device. Titles and sizes stay visible; unlock to read. Unlocking in the app also unlocks the notch for the session. While protection is on, search covers titles only and chats use your pinned and newest facts.
Marketplace
Section titled “Marketplace”Installing and updating
Section titled “Installing and updating”- Listing buttons show where you stand: Install, Installing…, Open with the installed version, Update to vN, Manage listing for your own listings, or Needs extension vX+.
- Update available appears on the Installed tab, on listing pages and on search cards. Update shows the release notes since your version, what access changes, and which settings carry over. You only confirm again when the update needs more access; otherwise you can also Stay on vN.
- Make it mine turns an installed workflow into your own copy, credited to the original. When a step is blocked, you can make it yours or remove that step.
- Listings show a read-only preview of the workflow, Works with chips and the number of setup steps. Installs are all or nothing: a failed install leaves nothing half-created.
- What it can access is now checked on your device from the version’s own steps, and the page tells you when the author’s list was incomplete. More nodes that reach the network (AI providers, MCP tools, RSS, web search, notifications and others) are now listed, and MCP servers are approved before an agent connects to them.
- An installed workflow whose steps did not change is no longer blocked just because AWFlow now classifies a node differently. New access is asked for at run time instead.
- Running an installed workflow no longer fails with “its steps changed since you approved it” after a previous run wrote a URL in its output.
- Marketplace pages load faster: the home page in one go, paged category, author and request board pages, and search that always shows the latest results.
Publishing and sharing
Section titled “Publishing and sharing”- Stop sharing removes a listing from the Marketplace while people who installed it keep their copy. Use Share again to bring it back, Withdraw for a listing still in review, and Delete draft for drafts.
- The secret scan catches more kinds of keys, tokens and webhook URLs, re-runs every time you tick Blank for installers, and marks each fix ✓ Fixed. Values AWFlow blanked automatically are shown to you.
- Errors from the server are shown clearly: the exact step and field that look like a secret, or which listing details are still missing, with a link to that step.
- Marketplace notifications have their own icons and open the right place, for example the edit wizard when a listing needs changes.
Safety
Section titled “Safety”- If AWFlow removes a listing for safety, installed copies stop running, their triggers are switched off, and you see a banner explaining why with Remove. Listings under review show an amber notice instead.
Relevant docs:
Agent and team templates
Section titled “Agent and team templates”- Before installing, a What it can do panel lists the template’s tools, workflows, hand-offs, knowledge search and routines, and asks you to confirm when it can act on pages or run workflows.
- Installs are all or nothing, and the template page shows Installed · Open once you have it.
- Authors can update a template (the approved version stays live during review), Remove from marketplace and Share again.
Relevant docs:
For moderators
Section titled “For moderators”- Moderation decisions are tied to the exact version you reviewed. If the author changes it meanwhile, your decision is not saved and you can load the new version.
- Approving uses a checklist; bulk approve is limited to AWFlow’s official imports, and rejecting or suspending always needs a reason.
- Test runs are isolated: no saved accounts, page steps run in a fresh test tab, every site asks first, and a panel lists the network activity.
- The review page flags when a listing declares less access than its steps need.
- A new Marketplace › Insights page shows the install funnel, declined permissions and where installs come from, based on anonymous usage events you can opt out of.
- The audit log is paged and can be filtered by action, person, target and date.
Fixes and polish
Section titled “Fixes and polish”- Faster sign-in: AWFlow no longer requests an extra token at sign-in, and changing your password works on Firefox.
- A new logo across the app icons, sidebar and loading screen.
- Marketplace and memory strings are translated into French, German and Chinese, with no English fragments left in translated messages.
